RAW FOOTAGE is J. Rupert Thompson's scripted dramatic directorial debut. Rupert has directed every episode of the hit TV series “FEAR FACTOR” since the show's second season, and was the Co-Executive Producer of the first season. Rupert's work on “FEAR FACTOR” won him the 2006 DGA Award for Outstanding Direction in Reality Programming.

Before “FEAR FACTOR,” Rupert produced and created several popular children's TV shows for Disney Channel during his tenure as creative partner at Evolution Film and Tape. “BUG JUICE” was one of the most popular - a documentary series about 12-14 year olds going to summer overnight camp. It ran for three seasons on Disney Channel. Other shows included “Totally Hoops,” “Totally in Tune” and “Movie Surfers.”
